3. Be watchful –
Exodus 14:13 (NKJV)
And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever.
Moses said to the Israelites open up your eyes and see the salvation of the Lord. They don’t know what’s was going to happen, they had no idea how they were going to crossing the Red Sea.
Listen, Don’t close your eyes while waiting for that big miracle. Open your eyes while you’re yet still waiting and see how God is going to respond. Don’t close your eyes, don’t sleep through it. Open your eyes and see the little miracles that God is already doing on your behalf.
Be watchful see the salvation of the Lord, Moses didn’t want them to forget what it looked like when he held his rod up over the sea. He didn’t want them to forget what it felt like to walk across the body of water and not get mud on their sandals. He never want them to forget what it felt like to see that body of water divide, he wanted them to see all the details of God’s deliverance.
Don’t close your eyes waiting on something big, open your eyes because God is already doing something that you don’t want to miss. Open your eye, be watchful. Keep praying for that big thing, but meanwhile keep your eyes open to see all the little miracles that God is doing in your life.
