“Why God doesn’t Answer our Prayer”
Jeremiah 33:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’
Can you hear me now!
Most of us today, or should I say all of us including children and young people have cell phones, and we all know that places that we just don’t get a signal. I know there’s a spot on 95 South when I get to that point, I’m going to lose my signal and I find myself saying hello, hello, can you hear me now. Knowing that, as soon as I make it pass that point I won't have a signal.
There are places in your house that you just don’t get a signal, like the basement, a back room, whatever the case may be we just don’t get a signal, so you try to avoid being on the phone in those areas.
The reality is, in our lives we find ourselves praying, trying to get an answer from God, trying to get help to resolve an issues in our lives and God doesn’t answer and we wonder whether or not He can hear us.
When that doesn’t work, we run to the pastor, to a brother or sister in Christ trying to get them to pray on our behalf.
So, the question is, why is God not answering our prayers.
God wants to answer you prayers, is not that God is avoiding you, but the Bible is clear with instructions and reasons why God wouldn’t answer your prayer.
Jeremiah 33:3 Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (The bible didn’t say call on your pastor)
God wants to show you such incredible things that will blow your mind, things that you would never imagine.
The word call means to cry out to God, means to open your mouth make a proclamation to make a sound. Some of us like to pray in silent, but God is saying to make a sound, reach out to Me call on Me and I will answer.
The word answer means He will speak back, He’s going to answer you in such a loud way that you’ll know it can only be God.
So, you call out to me, and He will shout out to you, and I will show you and I will announce it so that everyone will see what God has done for you in your life.
Stay tune for part 2
God Bless, Israel
