We as Christians have an advantage over non-believers when facing difficult decisions. We not only know that God has already planned the way that is best for us, but we have unfailing proof about His will and plans for our lives. But many of us have accepted whatever can be tolerated in your life.
Rather than getting in the perfect Will of God.
We have accepted things as they are, and we make major decision based on what we want or what we feel. Rather than knowing the perfect will of God for your life.
When it’s God’s perfect Will, it benefits not only you, but everybody around you. If someone has to get hurt or suffer, then that decision is not God’s perfect Will.
There are some people who are trying to make someone fit in their life that God never intended them to fit. There are some habits that you have, that you made fit that God never intended to fit in your life. There are somethings in your life, that you allowed that God never intended to be in your life at all.
Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.
How to be sure that God’s will is on your life
1. God speaks though His Word
His word will never contradict His Will on our lives
2. God speaks through fasting and prayer
God speaks through times of intimacy. People who spend regular time with God often get regular answer to prayer.
3. God speaks through His Spirit
The more you stay In-tune with the Holy Spirit, He will reveal Himself to you. He will reveal His Will for your life. When you are In-tune with the Holy Spirit, He will often speak to us and reveal what decisions we need to make on a regular basis in every situation.
4. God speaks though people
People of good character, people that are spiritually mature, people who give biblical perspectives and people with real life experience.
5. God speaks through circumstances
God speak to us and reveals His will through circumstances, God begins to open certain doors while at the same time closing other doors, often times God is saying this is the direction I what for you. Because I’m behind the seen orchestrating thing and working out the details on your behalf.
God Bless, Israel
